Having a fanpage connected to your business or blog is a great way to connect with new people/readers. But how do you make it work?! That’s the question right?!
Here’s my biggest tip: 
Post to your fanpage consistently.
When I say that I mean, post DAILY… and even twice a day is great too.
It’s not hard to do. Keep your eyes open while you’re on facebook. If you see something you like (an image, an article, a post ~ whatever) take a second and think if the people who follow your page would like it too. Chances are.. they will.
So share it to your page. 🙂
It’s that simple. There are tons of great images going around facebook… and tons of great articles ~ and I’m sure YOU’RE writing great stuff too! Share it on your page. It only takes a second, and you’ll see your insight numbers go through the roof.
As you can see in the image above… (the little purple dots at the bottom are my consistent (or not so consistent) posting. The line at the top is how many people see the post. You see how it goes up up up when I post regularly? This is not a fluke. I’ve played with it a few times now… not posting consistently and down down down goes the line… post consistently, up up up. 🙂
So if you’ve got a fanpage going make sure you post something to your page daily.

Here’s a quick and easy extra tip to help you get MORE fans on your fanpage.
Share FROM your fanpage!
Once I finish this post I’m going to share it on my fanpage, (that’s a given) but I’m going to take it one step further. I’m going to share the post FROM MY FANPAGE to my wall, and then to some facebook groups I’m in that are relevant to this information. When you share from your fanpage it says “your fanpage” shared this… and when people click through they’ll click to your fanpage, and if they haven’t liked it, they’ll have the chance to like your page.
This really is one of the easiest ways I use to build up my fan base on facebook… and it takes all of 2 seconds to do which makes it a real no brainer.
So that’s it, make sure you’re consistently posting to your fanpage (your stuff, and other people’s) and share from your page.
