Here’s my story in a nutshell.
I used to be a super stressed out mom to a baby who wouldn’t stop crying or sleep. (like for years)
Then I was the mom of a spirited toddler who wore me out. I thought I’d never make it through.
Then I realized the only thing I can change is me, and decided to work on myself. I read tons and tons of books, took courses, and did whatever I could to find a way to learn to take care of myself again.
The more I learned the better I got at it, and the more I was able to take care of my needs, be a better person, a more patient mother, and a more loving wife. And the happier I got.
Now I’m (pretty much) a happy mom of a spirited 4th grader, who still drives me bonkers, but I actually love being around her now.
I fought, researched, read, practiced, fell down, got back up, and did whatever it took to tackle the problems I was having head on. I knew I had to, to keep from losing my mind, I had to find my happy place.
It started small. 5 minutes here. 10 minutes there. The more I did, the easier it got, the happier I felt, the easier it was to access the happy place, and the more happy places I found in my life.
I see so many moms where I used to be, when I was overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, feeling like a failure, and wishing I could just run away from it all. I know how it feels, and I also know it’s possible to find a way out. I did it, and you can too, and I’m going to be right here showing you how. We’re going to do it together.
It’s my heart’s desire to show you how to find your happy place, so you can start loving yourself, your kids, your husband and your life again.
It really is easier than you think. If you’re willing to give it a try. <3
