This week our show was all about books. We talked about our favorite books, how we find new books, when we find time to read and so much more. Take a listen to the show! We are also launching the Around the Kitchen Table book club! We decided on our first book today. It’s going to be James Rollins’ Excavation. I’ve been reading his books and I’m looking forward to reading this one! They have been a lot of fun. Surviving Spring Break?

It’s Spring Break week here. It’s amazing how quickly I got used to having those couple hours of quiet while Hanna’s in school. Today on Around the Kitchen Table we talked about how to stay productive and have fun with your while their home for Spring Break. Around the Kitchen Table… Morning Mystery

Well, Mary K and I hosted the first “real” episode of our “Around the Kitchen Table” radio show this morning. It went really well, although I think there might have been some sound glitches here and there. I was pleased and excited to get to talk to Diana Orgain. She is a mystery novelist, and I just love her books!In fact, I reviewed her newest book Formula for Murder last week. We had a lovely talk and I found it really interesting how she writes, and is able to consistently publish books ~ her way is so different than my way of writing, that it was really interesting to me.
