While most days/weeks I have more ideas than I know what to do with I’m willing to admit there are times when I’m at a loss for words to put down on this blog. 🙁 Sad, but true… what happens even more often though is I’m at a loss for things to share across social media. I know posting consistently is one of the best things you can do to connect with and increase your social media following… but dang, I’m only one person.
But… I do have a trick up my sleeve. 😉
Way back in the day when I started using PLR it was horrible. Seriously. Horrible. Sentences didn’t make sense, paragraphs didn’t make sense lol. I quit using it because it took me longer to FIX it than it would have taken me to write my own stuff.
But over the last couple years some really amazing PLR providers have hit the scene and they are making my lives so much easier.
What is PLR?
I’m going to answer this question real quick because the last time I posted about PLR I got a bunch of people asking me what it was!
PLR is short for private label rights. It is content… can be tips, articles, ebooks, graphics, powerpoint presentations… any kind of content, that is created by a PLR professional. You purchase the PLR and by doing so you have the right to use it in any way you see fit (as long as it’s within the guidelines set by the professional you bought it from). You can put your name on it, call it yours. You can use it as blog content, email newsletter content, content for social media, put a bunch together and create your own ebook, use the ebooks to build your list… the options are about as endless as your imagination.
Short of it… content done by someone else you can claim and use as your own.
I have probably WAY too much PLR on my hard drive… I just love it so much, especially now that there are some fantastic PLR writers out there. I find quality and voice that is so similar to mine that it rarely needs much “editing”, maybe just adding a bit of a story of my own that relates to the topic, or change a word here or there so it sounds more like me.
Today I got an email from one of my very favorite PLR providers letting me know she’s got a brand new FREE PLR packet ready for you! If you’ve never used PLR before this is the perfect opportunity to see how it might fit into your business.
The FREE PLR today is 41 cooking tips. Now not everyone is going to need cooking tips, but think about this… do you have a health/wellness related site? A cooking related site? If you do these tips would be perfect to use to schedule on your Facebook page, or your G+ or Twitter accounts.
