blog workshop affiliate marketing

If you’re not making any (or enough) money from your blog right now, here’s an easy way you can create an income stream. This is a way that feels good, and is simple to do. You get to share the things you’re already using and love… it’s also called affiliate marketing. We’re going to dig into the how and why today on #blogworkshop.

Blog Workshop:
Creating an income with the things you use and love

Action Step:

This week’s action step is to find a tool/resource/product that use and/or love and find an affiliate program that sells it. Join the affiliate program (if you’re not already a member) and get your personalized affiliate link for your chosen item. Then insert the link in a post, or write up a review and share the link!

We’ll be talking about it all week over on G+! Join the conversation and share your post! Make sure you tag me!

Have an awesome week!

  1. Hi!

I can’t wait to see the video. The little bit you posted definitely has me intrigued. I have a question and I think I know the answer but I wanted to find out your opinion.

I have a blog on Blogger (actually a couple) that I want to use for affiliate marketing purposes. The reason I chose Blogger is because I find it to be easier to use than WordPress and since it “belongs” to Google I have more of an opportunity to gain organic traffic. However, I know that at any time Google can pull the plug and all of my hard work will be gone.

Should I go ahead and use WordPress to begin with or should I start off with Blogger and then, once I am consistent, transfer over to WordPress?

If you are using a blog as a platform for your *business* I always recommend you go with a platform your own. (and you know this… because I’ve told you many times already… stop thinking and start taking consistent action Barb. ;)) Not sure what you mean about the video? The whole blog workshop is here.
