Menu Plan Monday

Here we are again… it’s shaping up to be another hectic week. Hanna’s birthday party is Saturday and there’s lots of additional stuff going on. We’ve got some seriously good sales going on at the store this week! YAY.

My favorite, chicken quarters for .49/lb. I’m super excited about this one, because this sale is usually .99/lb ~ so I can get twice as much for the same money. woot. Guess we’ll be eating chicken for a while. Our store is having a pretty vast 10 for 10 sale too, which includes a lot of our regularly used items.

So here it is:

Turkey Tetrazzini (with leftover turkey)
salad

Leftover Tetrazzini ~ the reviews at AllRecipes say it makes a LOT…

Tacos

Peanut Butter and Jelly Chicken Stew
Rice and green beans

Mushroom Swiss Chicken (my favorite chicken dish!)
noodle side dish
green beans

BBQ chicken (drum sticks are on sale too ~ we love the dark meat!)
potato Salad (on sale)
mixed veggies (on sale)

Pizza (made with crust frozen from a couple weeks ago)
hamburger (1/2 lb left from last week)
black olives
mushrooms

Also… this is a huge deal, 1/2 gallons of milk are on sale for $1!! Yeah! Our milk is usually 3.89 a gallon, so that’s a huge savings! I’m going to buy a bunch and stick them in the freezer. Hubby is not going to be happy… but hey ~ at least we’ll have milk. 🙂

So that’s what’s on our menu this week. Don’t forget this post is linked up with OrgJunkie.com and her Menu Plan Monday ~ if you need some ideas there’s tons and tons of wonderful menus over there. 🙂
