This is the first year I’m joining the Blog A-Z challenge. I was inspired by my friend Martha Reynolds. Here’s what it entails… every day (except Sundays) in the month of April you publish a blog post starting with a letter of the alphabet (thus A-Z lol). You can have a theme or you can write about whatever you want. There are so many awesome things about doing a daily publishing challenge. So if you want to jump in, it’s not too late (click here to learn more and sign up)… it doesn’t start until April 1st. You’ve got plenty of time to plan still!
I decided since it’s my first year, it would be WAY easier to get organized and actually make it through the challenge if I had a theme. So today is the day… the theme reveal!
Drum roll please…
Happy Places!ย
What is a “happy place”. A happy place isย anything, anyone, anywhere that makes you feel good, smile, or laugh. To find your happy place you have to be present in the moment, and willing to let go of the way things “should” be, and the rules you’ve made for yourself about how things “are”.
With an open mind, and an open heart you can find a happy place in the most dismal of circumstances. For the A-Z challenge I will be sharing my daily happy places with you. <3
And just so you know… this doesn’t have to be a serious, high brow, perfect thing… when I think of finding my happy place I actually think of Happy Gilmore. lolย ๐ Honestly, there are multiple scenes about his “happy place” but it’s him trying to get the ball to go home that I always think of. ๐
So, that’s the theme. If you want to see what everyone else is doing for the A-Z challenge, hop on over and check it out… today is theme reveal day, so everyone’s spilling the beans.
Follow me on Bloglovin’ to see my daily Happy Places, and use the hashtag #findyourhappyplace if you want to play along. ย ๐
30 Ways to Find Your Happy Place will get you started. From where you are, right now, today... start finding your happy place. Simply enter your email address below, and your free report will be in your inbox momentarily.
Yay! Looking forward to it, Jackie!
Make sure you stop by on C day… I’ve got a little Chocolate to review. ๐ <3
Great theme ๐ Book reviews are always fun. You’re making me feel guilty because I have loads of books I owe reviews to as well. Hope you have a great first AtoZ – you are way more organised than I was my first year.

Books as a theme works on many levels, so that’s a brilliant theme. You are so well organised too, that’s not true for every first timer! Way to go! All the best for a great A-Z, the first time of anything is always a little extra special..
